That's it for right now.. I hope I start feeling better soon so that I can play games! (I'm hoping to play Saturday.. but we'll see how I feel then! :D) |
| ChiyoDad November 1, 2005 11:55 AM PST Nonowrimo sound like an interesting competition. This is the first time that I had heard of it. I have one caveat about practicing tsumego. I don't know about other beginners but, after practicing tsumego, I seem to treat almost every position on the goban like it's some sort of life-and-death problem and start to ignore the big plays. Don't fall into this tendency when you get back on KGS. Hope you're feeling better! | ||
| Brad November 2, 2005 08:15 AM PST Wolvie, are you coming back? | ||
| wolvie November 6, 2005 12:04 AM PST I did play one game tonight, but most of my time is dedicated to Nanowrimo. I'm doing very well in the novel writing thus far, and I will attempt to play Go when I find the time and don't have a headache, or when I think it will benefit my outlook in the novel. Don't worry, I plan to make a full-fledged return in December, when I'm less engrossed in writing at least 1667 words per day. :D | ||
| ChiyoDad November 7, 2005 01:16 PM PST Writing? How can one get so engrossed in writing? (Looks at own blog.) Nevermind. :-D | ||
